Tell Congress to send FEMA back to the drawing board!

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is a complete mess. It can barely manage emergency relief and is filled with overpaid bureaucrats who have done virtually nothing to help people who’ve lost everything in the natural disasters of the past few years.

Americans in Los Angeles still haven’t heard what the plan is after their homes were burned down by wildfires just a few weeks ago. Americans in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina are still living in tents after their homes were destroyed by Hurricane Helene. Even Americans who lost everything in the deadly Hawaii wildfires in 2023 still haven’t gotten the help they need to get back on their feet.

The federal government allocates nearly $30 billion dollars each year to FEMA for disaster relief. But the organization’s slow, ineffective response to dealing with disasters has seen little of that money actually make it to the people who need it most. It’s time to restructure the organization, eliminate red tape, and make it work for the American people again.

President Trump announced that he wants to see FEMA completely reorganized, possibly even eliminated, to turn things around and actually help the people who’ve suffered from these devastating disasters.

If you agree that FEMA needs a massive shake-up, tell Congress to go back to the drawing board and make FEMA work:
