In the last year of the Biden administration, Border Patrol agents confiscated more than 21,000 pounds of fentanyl - enough to kill more than 4 billion people.

While President Trump and Republicans have swiftly cracked down on the flow of illegal immigrants into our country, the threat of drug cartels bringing fentanyl into America still persists.

A new bill introduced by Senators Chuck Grassley, Bill Cassidy, and Martin Heinrich would permanently classify fentanyl-related substances as Schedule I under the Controlled Substances Act and increase penalties for those who get caught importing it into the United States.
