Every parent deserves the right to determine what type of education is best for their children and what they’re taught in schools. That’s why Senate Republicans recently introduced the ‘Student Empowerment Act’. If advanced, parents would have more control of their 529 college savings plan by being able to use those funds on eligible expenses for K-12 public, private, and homeschool education.  The bill would allow parents to use those funds to pay for things like school curriculum, textbooks, tutoring, and testing fees. It would also allow parents of students with disabilities to pay for educational therapies and other services to help disadvantaged students learn in a way that is customized to their needs.  School choice is the civil rights issue of the 21st century. And after years of leftists trying to give more power to teachers' unions and administrative bureaucrats, it's time to put power back in the hands of parents.  If you stand with Senate Republicans’ efforts to expand parents’ autonomy over their children’s education, sign our petition and urge Congress to pass the ‘Student Empowerment Act’.

For years, the Chinese Communist Party and other nefarious, anti-American governments have been quietly infiltrating our colleges and universities.  Through funding grants, deceitfully named “educational” programs, and carefully placed professors, these groups have been brainwashing American students with the goal of creating chaos and undermining our country’s future. In response, House Republicans introduced H.R. 1048 – called the DETERRENT Act – which protects American colleges and universities from foreign interference by strengthening disclosure requirements for foreign gifts and contracts.  If passed, the bill could even ban contracts between these schools and certain foreign entities who pose a threat to the United States.  Urge Congress to advance this bill and protect our colleges and universities from being undermined by America's enemies:
