Every day, we get to go to work, enjoy our families, and live in freedom because a group of brave men and women made the choice to put on the uniform. Our veterans gave up time with their loved ones, put their lives on hold, and put themselves in harm's way to protect this country and everyone in it.
Saying "thank you for your service" once a year on Veterans Day simply isn't enough. Our appreciation should be something our community shows and lives every single day. A lot of our heroes come home facing tough transitions, health battles, and everyday challenges, and no veteran should ever feel forgotten or unappreciated in the very hometown they fought to defend.

We are calling on our local community and leaders to step up and make our gratitude count—whether that means creating dedicated local memorials, hosting community events that truly celebrate our vets, or making sure they have access to the local support and resources they’ve earned.
