America’s elections are threatened when outdated voter rolls remain unaddressed. 

A coalition of 26 Republican Attorneys General, led by Virginia, recently pushed the Supreme Court to require that states clean up their voter rolls to protect election integrity, and they won!

In Virginia alone, 1,600 residents had their voting rights restored, even though they were not eligible under current standards. That ruling put the validity of our elections at risk, with outdated lists that include deceased individuals, people who have moved, and others who should no longer be on the rolls.

These inaccuracies are not harmless; they open the door to fraud, abuse, and a lack of public confidence in the democratic process. Republicans know that clean, current voter rolls are essential for ensuring every legitimate vote counts. Allowing names to linger on outdated rolls dilutes the power of every legitimate voter and threatens the foundations of our democracy.

If states are permitted to let these inaccuracies persist, we are failing American voters and risking the legitimacy of our elections.
