On August 7th, Vice President Kamala Harris visited Detroit, Michigan, where she met with the co-founders of the Uncommitted Movement, a group that successfully mobilized tens of thousands of voters to withhold their support for President Biden in the primaries due to his stance on Israel.
This move by Vice President Harris is clearly a political maneuver to win back the support of these voters, who have shown sympathy towards Hamas—a group recognized as a terrorist organization by the United States. Her willingness to engage with them raises serious concerns about her commitment to Israel, our strongest ally in the Middle East.
Harris went even further by introducing these activists to her staff members, effectively granting them direct access to influence policy discussions. This dangerous alignment sends a troubling signal to Israel, which is currently standing firm against threats from Hamas, Iran, and Hezbollah. And to make matters worse, it's been weeks since Kamala Harris has spoken to the American press, yet she has no problem talking to Hamas sympathizers.
We must act now to prevent this dangerous political pandering. Tell Vice President Harris: Do not appease Hamas or betray our ally Israel. The stakes are too high.
