Members of Congress shouldn’t get to play by a different set of rules than the rest of us.

That’s why Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) recently re-introduced the “PELOSI Act” – a bill that would ban members of Congress and their spouses from trading stocks while in office.

For years now, the American people have seen dozens of politicians turn massive profits in the stock market using information not available to the general public. One of the most widely known examples is of Nancy Pelosi who, despite making only $174,000 per year as a member of Congress, is worth over $253 Million.
