Tell Congress to protect our brave border patrol agents!

Congressional Republicans are answering the call to protect our southern border and defend America’s brave border patrol agents. 

This week, they’re introducing H.R. 35 - known as the Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act, which creates new criminal offenses for operating a vehicle within 100 miles of the southern border while fleeing from Border Patrol agents or any law enforcement officer. 

The bill is named after Border Patrol Agent Raul Gonzalez who was killed in the line of duty while pursuing illegal immigrants near the border. If advanced would increase punishments like longer sentences or even prohibition of legal status in the United States for illegal immigrants who put our nation’s officers in harm's way.
