This week, Senate Republicans are taking major steps to undo a handful of burdensome regulations put in place by Joe Biden.
S.J. Res. 28 would reverse the Biden administration rule that gives the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau more oversight power over non-bank entities that provide no benefit to consumers or the market and place significant burdens on businesses that use digital payments.
S.J. Res. 18 would eliminate another Consumer Financial Protection Bureau rule that caps overdraft fees, ensuring overdraft services remain accessible for American consumers.
Getting rid of both of these restrictive measures is key to restoring America’s economy and getting the government out of our lives.
