Protect the Second Amendment!

Under the leadership of their far-left governors, blue states like California and Colorado have severely limited their citizens' Second Amendment rights by imposing ridiculous taxes on gun and ammunition sales.

In 2023, California imposed an 11% excise tax on gun and ammunition sales. This year, Colorado is set to impose a 6.5% excise tax. And other states like Maryland and New York are planning to do the same thing.

With firm control of both houses of Congress, Republicans are taking action to stop them from eroding one of our most sacred freedoms.

Idaho Senator Jim Risch and California Representative Darrell Issa recently introduced the Freedom from Unfair Gun Taxes Act to prevent states from imposing such radical taxes on their gun-owning citizens.
