Recently, a leading conservation group released a list of ten recommendations to undo red tape in the Department of the Interior and streamline efforts to protect our natural resources.
If enacted, these policies could triple the rate of endangered species recovery, double fee revenues for national parks without raising costs, and eliminate regulations for Americans who want to assist in managing habitat restoration.
Some of these policies include issuing an all-access pass to America’s national parks to help generate more revenue and increase attendance. Another solution is eliminating outdated rules and regulations, so the Department can utilize market-based solutions to recover endangered species.
