Planned Parenthood has long claimed to provide “healthcare,” but the reality is clear: it is the nation’s largest abortion provider, propped up by hundreds of millions in taxpayer dollars. Now, a policy advanced under President Trump is finally taking aim at that broken system.
A U.S. appeals court just cleared the way for the government to block Medicaid funding to abortion providers that receive more than $800,000 in federal reimbursements — including Planned Parenthood.
This isn’t about restricting care. It’s about ending taxpayer support for an abortion industry that ends hundreds of thousands of lives every year while pocketing government subsidies.
Planned Parenthood warns the policy could shut down up to 200 clinics and impact 1.1 million Medicaid patients. But let’s be honest: if your entire operation collapses without government handouts, maybe it shouldn’t exist in the first place.
We need to make this permanent. Congress must act now to:
- Enforce and expand President Trump’s funding restrictions on large abortion providers
- Pass legislation to bar all taxpayer dollars from going to Planned Parenthood
- Redirect funding to community health centers that offer full-service care — not abortion
Meanwhile, California and 21 other states are suing to stop the funding block, claiming it’s unconstitutional and unfair. But we know what this really is: a political attempt to keep abortion providers flush with your money.
